This is a really good product but I may just have a more difficult couch. My couch is made from polyester but has a loose weave with a linen look to it. It pills little tiny balls all over like crazy and pet hair gets stuck in the weave. It was an expensive and very comfy couch so this was our last ditch effort before getting rid of it for something that’s easier to keep nice. I’d say this did a heck of a job, not perfect but what a difference. For fabrics that aren’t as difficult as mine I’d think it would do even better. Note, it is time consuming. I spent a good hour on this couch. I’m sure maintenance wouldn’t be as long each time.

We have a tan, fabric couch that had a lot of pills after a year of use. The pills made the couch look dirty even after deep cleaning the couch with an upholstery cleaner. This pill remover is AWESOME. It looks like we have a brand new couch! It definitely takes some elbow grease and sometimes going over the same area multiple times...but it works!If you have animals, I'd recommend vacuuming the couch thoroughly before starting to remove any hair and keep a dust bin handy for when you clean the tool.I can't speak to how the tool works with sweaters/clothing at this time.

This is our second time ordering it! With any “luxury” fabric sofa they tend to peel and get these fuzzies that drive me nuts!!! This is the only thing that works like a charm, the one attachment that looks like a grid. Over time the clicking into the device stops and or just wears down, but for the price we are fine worth just replacing. Photo is the left side done and the right side not done yet to see before and after.
